Facebook Auto Poster PRO Setup And Configuration

help STEP 1: Adding and authorizing Facebook accounts in Facebook Auto Poster PRO
Before using Facebook Auto Poster PRO, you must have at least one valid Facebook account.
For each different Facebook account you add in the script, you must create a new basic Facebook application with that account.
Creating a new Facebook application is a simple process and it should not take more than 3 minutes.
Before granting access, be sure you are logged in Facebook with the same account you want to authorize.
The accounts must be added in Facebook Auto Poster PRO admin interface, "My Resources » Facebook Accounts" section.


I. Create a new Facebook application [Click here for a help video]
1. Login into Facebook developers section with your Facebook verified account: https://developers.facebook.com
If you will be asked, please register as a Facebook developer.

2. In the main menu on top, Click on Apps » Add a New App and perform the Facebook security image/captcha verification.

3. In the main window choose Website

4. Insert the name of your application then click on Create New Facebook App ID.

5. Leave NO for "Is this a test version of another app?". For Category select "Apps for pages" . Click on Confirm.

6. On the next screen, on right-top corner please click on Skip Quickstart.

7. Go to Settings tab and insert these details:
   7.1. Display Name: Choose a name – on Facebook this will appear as "posted via”
   7.2. Namespace: Choose a namespace(optional)
   7.3. App Domains insert sharecron.com
   7.4. Click on "+Add Platform" and select "Website".
   7.4.1. In Site URL insert http://www.sharecron.com
   7.5. Fill in your email address in "Contact Email" field.
Save the details.

8. Go to "Status&Review" section and change:  
Do you want to make this app and all its live features available to the general public?
- YES

9. Go to "Dashboard” section, and click on App Secret » Show. Insert your Facebook password to reveal the Application Secret.

DO NOT submit the application for review. Follow only the steps described above.

II. Adding a new Facebook account in Facebook Auto Poster PRO
First, go to Facebook Sharer admin interface, "My Resources » Facebook Accounts" section and click on "Add new account" button.
When you add a new account, please insert a suggestive description, the Facebook Application ID and Secret associated with that account.
After adding a new account in the script, you must grant access to the Facebook application by clicking on "Grant access" button.
Please grant all rights asked by the Facebook dialog and be sure you select "Public" when posting rights are asked.


When completing this process, PLEASE IGNORE ANY WARNING from Facebook. This warning refers only for different user usage, which is not the case. After completing the authorization process, the script will import all your fan pages and groups. To import the groups you are member of, please check Step 3.

III. Adding another Facebook account in Facebook Auto Poster PRO
If you want to use more Facebook accounts, before adding a new account, please logout first from Facebook(in your browser).
Then, login with your new Facebook account and follow the steps described above again.
You will have to do this only once for each Facebook account.


help STEP 2: Perform a quick Facebook privacy checkup
To be sure your posts will be visible, you must verify if your privacy settings are correct in Facebook.

1. In the same browser, go to www.facebook.com and login into your Facebook account.
2. Go to Settings » Apps. Check if your new created Facebook application has the privacy set to "Public".
3. In Facebook, on right-top corner, click on the "locker" icon, then on "Privacy Checkup". Be sure "Who would you like to see your next post?" is set to "Public".

help STEP 3: Import your Facebook groups
Follow this step only if you want to post in your Facebook public groups.
After you have added and authorized a new Facebook account in the script, to import the groups, you must use our "Group Importer Tool".

In Facebook Auto Poster PRO, go to My Resources » Facebook Groups, click on "Group Importer Tool" and follow the instructions.


help STEP 4: Create a master group to upload images
If you want to post images in groups, you must create and use a master group where these images will be automatically uploaded.
When you will post images in multiple groups, the script will upload first the image in your master group, then it will be used for posting in other groups.


1. Login in Facebook and go to your groups section. Click on "+ Create group" button.
2. Insert any name for your group, add at least one group member and select "Public" in privacy.
3. Get the group ID from your browser address bar.
Ex: If your group's address is https://www.facebook.com/groups/1386795271631925 , then the group ID is 1386795271631925.
4. Go to script settings and insert your master group ID, then save the settings.
5. Each new Facebook account you add in the script must be a member of this master group.

help STEP 5: Configure script settings
After installing the script, you will have to configure the optimal script settings. Please use these settings:

1. Maximum number of messages posted once: 5 or 10 posts
2. Pause between posting the messages: 1 second
3. Insert and save the master group ID

help Facebook fan pages
You must have administrator rights to update the status of the fan pages. The script will post using the fan page name.
When adding a new Facebook account, the script will automatically import all your fan pages.
To import new pages in the script, just go to "My accounts" and click on "Renew access" button.

help Facebook groups
Facebook Auto Poster PRO can post in all groups you admin and in public groups you are member of.
When adding a new Facebook account, the script will automatically import the groups you admin.
To import the public groups you are member of, you must use the "Group Importer Tool" located in "Facebook Groups" section.

help Organize the groups into groups lists
If you need to organize your groups into lists, the best way is to import the groups for the same Facebook account, multiple times.

1. Go to "My Facebook Resources » Facebook Accounts" and add a new account.
2. For the new account, choose a suggestive description conforming to the group list scope(Ex: "Groups for product A").
3. Click on "grant access" button and accept all permissions asked by Facebook.
4. When you will import the groups, select only the groups related to "Groups for product A". You will be able to add more groups later.
5. Add another new account, give it a suggestive name conforming to your other interest(Ex: "Groups for product B") and grant access.
6. When you will be asked to import the groups, select only the groups related to "Groups for product B". You will be able to add more groups later.
Repeat this procedure whenever it is necessary with all your Facebook accounts.

help My saved ads - messages lists
In this section you will have to prepare the messages that will be posted by your scheduled campaigns.
First, you will have to create a new message list. The list name should be very close to list's content in order to use and identify this list in campaigns.
To save your messages, use "add messages in the list" button in "existing lists" section.

You can use plain text , images, and links to videos or websites(with http:// prefix). In your messages DO NO USE HTML and DO NOT USE NON ASCII characters.

Posting links: In your ads, you can use links and promote any website or resource.
Any link you insert in a saved message MUST CONTAIN the FULL URL with http:// prefix.
DO NOT use more than one link in the same message.
The link must be added AT THE END of your message.

Posting videos: You also can use videos in your messages.
You MUST INSERT the FULL URL to the video including the http:// prefix and the link to the video must be added AT THE END of your message.

Posting images: To upload an image, you must insert the image URL in your message.
Please be sure the image URL is the FIRST LINE in your message.
After the image URL, you can add extra text or a link BUT AFTER the image URL.

The image URL can be located on your website or on any external resource.
You can upload your own images in "My saved images" section and paste the URL of the image into your saved message.
DO NOT use more than one image in the same message.

Posting updates from external RSS feeds:
The script can automatically get external content from RSS feeds and post it on your wall, fan pages or in groups.
To use this function, you must create a different message list.
The saved message must contain the #rss# prefix and the full URL to the RSS feed.
DO NOT add any other extra text excepting the rss feed URL and #rss# prefix!

Automatically add comments to the last post in groups:
The script can be automatically add your comment to the last post in the selected groups.
To do this, please create and schedule a regular campaign to post in groups.

For this campaign you must create and use a different message list. The messages in the list must be formatted in this way:
- To comment the last post in the selected groups, please add ## in front of the message
- To bump your previous post in the selected groups, please add @@ in front of the message.You already should have at least one post in the selected groups.
- To bump your previous post in the selected groups and then delete the comment, please add @@@ in front of the message.

help Facebook campaigns
If you have at least one verified Facebook account and at least one message list you will be able to create a new campaign.
When creating a new campaign please follow all the instructions and the help tooltips.

How to set your campaigns to run at specific hours:
Because Facebook time, server's time and your time are different you cannot schedule the campaigns to run/begin at a certain hour.
The best way to do this:
- Create and schedule your campaign
- Pause your campaign in "Existing campaigns" section
- Wait until you want to run your campaign and manually enable it. You will have to do this only the first time.

help Usage recommendations
Facebook Sharer was not designed to spam Facebook or to abuse the system. This script was tested carefully and it works perfect if it is used in a reasonable way.
DO NOT ABUSE Facebook using this script. For optimal performance and usage, please consider the following recommendations:


1. Script settings. For optimum efficiency, in script settings we recommend to use these values:
- Maximum number of messages posted once: 5 or 10 posts
- Pause between posting the messages: 1 second
- In script settings, please set a master group where to upload the images
- Try to limit your active campaigns to maximum 4.
- Try to limit your facebook accounts to maximum 4.

2. Messages:
- DO NOT USE HTML CODE or NON-ASCII characters in your messages.
- DO NOT USE more than one link in a message. Instead, use spintax with multiple links. Ex: {http://www.link1.com | http://www.link2.com}
- DO NOT USE more than one image in a message. Instead, use spintax with multiple images. Ex: {http://www.link1.com/image1.png | http://www.link1.com/image2.png}
- Each campaign should use a message list with at least 4 different messages.
- In each message list please use different messages: some with text+links, some with images+links.
- Do not use images in all your messages.
- Each message from the same message list should contain a different image or at least a different text or link.
- To avoid posting duplicate content, we STRONGLY recommend to use SPINTAX in all your messages.

3. Active campaigns:
- We STRONGLY recommend to create and use a MASTER group for uploading images.
- For any campaign you will create, we recommend to post maximum 1 message/1 hour. Especially if you are posting in more than 50 groups.
- For each campaign use a message list that contains at least 4 messages. We STRONGLY recommend to USE SPINTAX in all your messages.
- If you are posting in more than 100 groups once, create different cloned campaigns and post maximum 1 message/hour.
Example:
Campaign A - set it to post 1 message/hour in 100 groups: when creating/editing the campaign select from group #1 to group #100
Campaign B - set it to post 1 message/hour in 100 groups: when creating/editing the campaign select from group #101 to group #200
Campaign C - set it to post 1 message/hour in 100 groups: when creating/editing the campaign select from group #201 to group #300
Etc.

4. Instant posts feature
Use this section only to test your posts before scheduling your campaigns. DO NOT use this section for mass posting.
